Business cards evolved from a fusion of traditional trade cards and visiting cards (also known as calling cards). China first used these cards in the 15th century and in Europe in the 17th century. Servants of aristocrats and royalty would deliver these cards to their host to introduce their arrival. Today, business cards are one of the most important tools for conducting business with other people. Business cards are a form of advertisement for the product and services you offer. Since the technology we call the internet provides cheap advertising, fast access for information and are now part of almost all people's everyday lives. Businesses are now designing and posting their business cards online.
